The outbreak of Plaque erupted in Athena’s city in ancient Greek during 430 BC and swept till the Peloponnesian War despite the origin of the disease believed to happen in Ethiopia. The highly contagious epidemic exhibited symptoms of pustular high fever, diarrhoea and rash.
